Why EasyLang?
EasyLang was founded by tutors who spent years on large platforms and experienced what high commissions actually do: they create financial pressure that leaves less time for students.
That's why we keep our commission deliberately low — and why the people running EasyLang don't depend on platform profits. This isn't a VC-backed startup optimizing for investor returns. It's a tool built by tutors, for tutors.
For Tutors
Start at 10% for your first 50 hours. After that, your rate drops permanently to 7% — with no further conditions. Online platforms can't offer health insurance or paid leave; tutors cover those costs themselves. Lower commission means more financial breathing room.
Learn moreStar ratings are internal quality tools — not public weapons. A single bad review cannot damage a tutor's income or visibility. What's publicly visible is only the thumbs-up ratio, a fairer measure of real satisfaction.
Learn moreGood teaching requires the right match. If a collaboration is unlikely to succeed, a tutor may decline politely — without fear of public retaliation. Both sides deserve a productive working relationship.
